Feng Shui
FENG SHUI is about harnessing the Qi (energy) of your living environment to help you achieve your goals. Feng Shui is not just about turning your home into a magnet for wealth – it is about making your home, the place that you spend most of your non-working hours, in a comfortable and joyous place to reside in, and of course, support your life goals. It is about harnessing the Qi or natural energy of your living environment, with a view to helping you achieve your goals in life.
Classical Feng Shui is about understanding Qi flow and how that Qi flow affects your property. A good part of this understanding comes from being able to evaluate the landform and environmental features that surround a property. By identifying negative environmental features and choosing not to buy a house or property with such features, you are already taking a positive step towards getting a property with good Feng Shui. Remember, the name of the game is not to try to fix something that is broken, but to get something that is good in itself, so you can improve on it!

Since 1994, I’ve been involved in studying different methods and techniques in the practice of Feng Shui. In the past couple of years, I found the Classical Method of Feng Shui as teached by Joey Yap and it made perfect sense. Not only is the Eight Mansions Feng Shui Method used (a more traditional system that utilizes the basic static Qi map of a house for a more long-term solution), but he also delves into Flying Stars (which is the basic system of determining the potential of each palace and when the potential will be unleashed or how you can unleash it in terms of wealth and people luck).

Remember the Role of Heaven
Of course, at the end of the day, one must not forget that ultimately, one must consider the ‘Heaven’ aspect of a person’s destiny, which is analyzed through Purple Star Astrology or BaZi astrology. The element of Heaven Luck must be given consideration because ultimately, the univverse, according to Chinese Metaphysics, involves the interplay of Heaven, Earth and Man. Heaven being Destiny, Earth being Feng Shui and Man being one’s own actions.
